I recently got a new camera and took it on my vacation this past week. I went up to Campobello Island in Canada and stopped at Acadia National Park in Maine on the way back. The sights were great, so added four new pictures: one of a flower, one of a lake (both in the Nature section), one of a lighthouse, and one of a bridge (both in the Others section).

I added a picture of Norma Jean vocalist Cory Brandan that I took at the Warped Tour yesterday. Despite the tornado warnings and monsoon rain, it was a good time. I've been taking a lot of videos lately, so be sure to check out my YouTube account as well. I'm thinking about re-designing the site to accomodate videos and focus less on design work, since I don't do it as often these days. We'll see.

I added a picture of a goose to the Nature section, my first addition there in about two years. My girlfriend and I went on a picnic to celebrate our three year anniversary at a local pond yesterday, and we were greeted by this feathered friends. They were actually kind of creepy but didn't mind getting their picture taken.

I added a logo for The Bending Tree, a one man band. It's my first real attempt at a grind logo, but I think it came out good because it's crazy looking but still somewhat legible.

I added a wallpaper I made for Sparks the Resuce using pictures I took at their show a couple months ago. I played around with some different effects, and I think it came out pretty cool in a trippy way.

I added a picture of a ferris wheel that I took during The Bamboozle on Saturday. I got some good pictures of bands, but I think this was the best from the weekend -- which was a lot of fun, I might add.

I added a logo for Safe in Heaven Dead, one of the best local bands around. Do yourself a favor and listen to them. I have to thank Erin for being a beautiful model. I apologize for going a month without updating, but I haven't really been up to too much.

I added a banner for Horror-101.com, an editorial-based horror website of which I am the editor. I took some animated zombies from the Dawn of the Dead remake, and it came out cool. Also be sure to check out Horror-101 on Myspace.

Welcome to the new and improved version of AlexIsLegend.com. As you can see, the layout is different, and I think it looks better and more professional. It has some new things, most notably the recommendation of the week and the words of wisdom. These will change every weekend, time permitting. Additionally, I plan on changing the picture at the top of the layout at the beginning of each month, assuming I remember. There are some other new features, so take a look around. Let me know what you think.
